We are seeking a Solar Installation Specialist (or a Roof Plumber skilled in solar) to join the Purtle Electrical crew. Someone who can take responsibility and ownership, who knows solar inside and out, and who wants to help us continue raising the bar for what’s possible in solar installations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and maintaining residential (and possibly commercial) solar systems with minimal supervision.
  
• Coordinating on-site: measuring, cutting, sealing, cable routes, inverter/mount setup.
  
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical WHS / safety procedures.
  
• Collaborating with project managers, electricians, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  
• Paying attention to finish and detail — we take pride in seeing a job done well.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in solar installation (residential/small commercial) and/or roof plumbing/applied roof work.
  
• Solid understanding of solar mounting systems, inverters, panel types, cabling, electrical safety, and waterproofing.
  
• Ability to work independently, solve problems on site, and manage time and priorities.
  
• Strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship.
  
• Valid licence(s), certifications as required (electrical/roof plumbing/solar accreditations).
  
• Good communication, team attitude, and willingness to learn and adapt.
